Ensure your system is set up to support Graffiti.
Learn how to configure IIS to support Graffiti.
To run an ASP.Net application locally, you need to have access to a database server and Internet Information Services (Microsoft's web server software). Developers will usually have both of these tools installed, but designers and more casual users may not.
You must set the security properties after you install Graffiti.
For Graffiti to function properly, you must enable Graffiti with full write access to your entire web directory. The configuration procedure you follow depends upon your operating system or server environment.
By default, Graffiti uses a VistaDB database: Graffiti.vdb. When you unzip the downloaded Graffiti files, the extraction process loads a Data folder containing two VistaDB databases.
The permissions function allows the system administrator/manager to control the actions that each user can perform within Graffiti. The roles function allows you to assign the functions available Graffiti users.
